Definition of 'Active Participant Status'
The individual whose nonattendance from an intended event
would activate a benefit if the occasion needs to be given up or postponed

Active participant status is an orientation to an
individual's participation in a company sponsored retirement plan. Plans which meet
the criteria include:
Qualified plans such as earnings sharing plans, money
purchase pension, defined benefit plans or target benefit plans.

SEP IRAs plans
Qualified annuity plans
Employee Funded Pension Trusts
Plan customary for its employees by the United States
